Time has flown by and today we’re happy to announce that, next month, Pikmin Bloom will be celebrating its 3rd anniversary! We couldn’t have made it this far without the support of our lovely global community – thank you so much, and here’s to many more!
Starting on November 1st, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin will be bringing the festive vibe! Thought they were alone? No way! First Anniversary Snack and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin will be coming right along – it’s shaping up to be a great party!

🌼 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Event 🌼
Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin (7 types in total)
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Whipped Cream, seedlings that grow into 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types for 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase a Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (November 1 through 30):
*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Event Premium Pass purchases within the first week of the event (until November 7, 23:59 local time) will include Whipped Cream as a bonus.
※Please note the early bird bonus will no longer be available after the first week of the event.
Clear Event missions to obtain Mii costumes!
At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Whipped Cream. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain cute Pikmin headbands for your Mii!
*Whipped Cream can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Brilliant Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, and from event-limited bundle packs.
*Once the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Event ends, the Whipped Cream missions will disappear. Please note that Whipped Cream have no purpose outside of this event.
Destroy Brilliant Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes!
During the event, you may encounter Brilliant Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Whipped Cream, flower petals, and seedlings for throwback Decor Pikmin (read below for more information) among others. 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Brilliant Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!
⚫️Giant Brilliant Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:
*During the event, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than the usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Brilliant Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Event too.
*If you join a Brilliant Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
What’s that groove?
During the event, music specially arranged for our 3rd Anniversary celebrations will be playing in the background for all scenes! Enjoy listening to it during your walks!

As part of the 3rd Anniversary celebrations, First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin (which first made their appearance during our 2nd anniversary) will be back for a limited time! This is a great chance to meet these Decor Pikmin whether you were already with us back then and didn’t complete the whole set, or it’s your first time hearing about them!
Clear dedicated missions to get seedlings for First Anniversary Snack and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin!
Once the event starts, you will receive a set of dedicated missions to collect Whipped Cream. Please see below for the detailed schedule.
*These missions can be completed in parallel alongside the main event missions.
*Gold Seedlings for First Anniversary Snack and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories grow into any of the 7 available types for each decor at random.
*From November 1, 0:00 to November 30, 23:59, First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against Brilliant Mushrooms.
*From November 15, 0:00 to November 30, 23:59, Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against Brilliant Mushrooms.
Get seedlings from Mystery Boxes!
During the event, you may occasionally receive an additional seedling for First Anniversary Snack or Puzzle: Fall Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin on top of Whipped Cream rewards from Mystery Boxes obtained by destroying Brilliant Mushrooms.

*In order for the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version v106 or later.
