In the Northern Hemisphere, March is known to bring with it the first signs of spring. Sometimes, we may feel these as a sort of awakening that invites us to move our bodies. It is also during this time of year that many regions around the world celebrate carnival festivities, one of which is the world famous Rio Carnival!
This year, Pikmin Bloom will be joining in on the groove too! During the event, you’ll be able to meet an all-new set of Rio Carnival Decor Pikmin adorned with feathers and other items. To match the season, Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin will be making a limited-time comeback too!

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Rio Carnival Decor Pikmin!
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Carnival Feathers, seedlings that grow into Rio Carnival Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!
*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types for Rio Carnival Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.

Clear Event missions to obtain Mii costumes and seedlings for Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin!
At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Carnival Feathers. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain Gold Seedlings for Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin, as well as event-specific costumes for your Mii!
*Carnival Feathers can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Verdant Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Carnival Feather missions will disappear. Please note that the Carnival Feathers have no purpose outside of this event.
*Seedlings obtained by clearing missions to collect Carnival Feathers will grow into any of the 7 available types for Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.
Destroy Verdant Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Carnival Feathers!
During the event, you may encounter Verdant Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Carnival Feathers, flower petals, and other items! Rio Carnival and Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Verdant Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!
⚫️Giant Verdant Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:
*During the event, Rio Carnival and Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Verdant Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Rio Carnival Event too.
*If you join a Verdant Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
