This time of year there’s something different in the air! Whether it’s the warm colors filling the streets, the festive decorations, or the seasonal music playing wherever you go, just taking a stroll and taking it all in is sometimes enough to put us in a festive and happy mood!
Starting on December 1st, the festivities are just about to get even better, as we’ll be holding a Holiday Event! Been looking for those ball ornaments you put away last year? Look again! It looks like some Pikmin may have gotten into the box, as we’re about to welcome the new Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin! Additionally, we’ll be able to meet Mitten and Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin again!

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin!
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Pine Cones, seedlings that grow into Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!
*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types for Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase a Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (December 1 through 31):
*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain Mii costumes and seedlings for Mitten Decor Pikmin!
At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Pine Cones. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain Gold Seedlings for Mitten Decor Pikmin, as well as some cozy sweaters and other seasonal Mii costumes to get you right in the holiday mood!
*Pine Cones can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Bizarre Mushrooms, and as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass or limited-time bundle packs.
*Once the Holiday Event ends, the Pine Cones missions will disappear. Please note that the Pine Cones have no purpose outside of this event.
*Gold Seedlings for Mitten Decor Pikmin will grow into any of the 7 available types. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.
Destroy Bizarre Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes!
During the event, you may encounter Bizarre Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Pine Cones, flower petals, items, and seedlings for throwback Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin among others. Ball Ornament, Mitten, and Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Bizarre Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!
⚫️Giant Bizarre Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:
*During the event, Ball Ornament, Mitten, and Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than the usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Bizarre Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Holiday Event too.
*If you join a Bizarre Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
All postcards your Pikmin bring will feature a special holiday design!
There are 2 different designs to collect, and they make for the perfect seasonal greeting to send to your friends!

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between November 1st and December 31st will grow into any of the 7 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin.
*In order for the Ball Ornament Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version v108 or later.
