This August, set off on a tropical journey in Pikmin Bloom with the Summer Vacation event! Making their debut are Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin, inspired by the beautifully handcrafted wooden animal carvings that have become one of Bali’s iconic souvenirs!

Also returning are the delightfully refreshing Shaved Ice and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin, perfect companions for your next outing.

And that’s not all – Ice Pikmin will be joining the Shaved Ice Decor family, and during this event only, players who collect enough event Tropical Coconuts will have the opportunity to choose a Gold Seedling that grows into a Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin in the color of their choice!

No passport required—just your Pikmin and a sense of adventure. Happy exploring!

Event Details

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin!

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Tropical Coconuts, seedlings that grow into Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 8 available types for Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (August 1 through 31):

For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, gray, or ice blue) of Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain event-inspired Mii costumes and seedlings for Shaved Ice and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin

At the start of the event, you will receive two sets of missions to collect Tropical Coconuts. One of the sets awards event-limited Mii costumes, and the other lets you choose from a variety of rewards.

By completing each mission to collect 600 Tropical Coconuts, you’ll be able to choose one reward from a selection including seedlings for Shaved Ice and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin, alongside other items. (After completing a certain number of missions, rewards will be limited to seedlings for Shaved Ice and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin only.)

To add to that, as a special bonus for August, users who collect 15,000 Tropical Coconuts will be able to choose one Gold Seedling that grows into a Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin in the color of their choice. (At the 15,000 Tropical Coconut milestone, only the Gold Seedling reward can be selected. Seedlings for Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin and items will not be available.)

*Tropical Coconuts can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Seafoam Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Premium Event Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Tropical Coconut missions will disappear. Please note that the Tropical Coconuts have no purpose outside of this event.

Destroy Seafoam Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Tropical Coconuts!

During the event, you may encounter Seafoam Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain a variety of items alongside Tropical Coconuts! Balinese Carving, Shaved Ice, and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Seafoam Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. This month, we’re also throwing in two additional days on the last weekend, which will include Friday and Monday. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

⚫️Giant Seafoam Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:

*During the event, Balinese Carving, Shaved Ice, and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Seafoam Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Summer Vacation Event.
*If you join a Seafoam Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between August 1st and August 31st will grow into any of the 8 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, Rock or Ice Balinese Carving Decor Pikmin.
