A new season is rolling in, and Pikmin Bloom is ready to celebrate! Starting in September, the Mid-Autumn Festival kicks off with brand-new Mooncake Decor Pikmin — plus Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin showing off some fresh designs.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when families across many parts of Asia gather to enjoy moonlit nights, lanterns, and delicious mooncakes! It’s the perfect time to step outside, enjoy the changing season, and take your Mooncake Pikmin on a stroll to light up your walks!
*Pikmin grown from Mahjong Tile Seedlings may carry any of 14 Mahjong Tiles, including seven new designs debuting in this event (Bamboo tiles 2–8).
*Please note that not all Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin that made an appearance in the past will be available in this event.

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Mooncake Decor Pikmin!
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Moonlit Lanterns, seedlings that grow into Mooncake Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!
*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types for Mooncake Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Event Premium Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (September 1 through 30):
*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.

Clear Event missions to obtain Mii costumes and seedlings for Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin
At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Moonlit Lanterns. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain event-inspired costumes for your Mii and seedlings for Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin!
*Moonlit Lanterns can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Magnificent Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Moonlit Lanterns missions will disappear. Please note that the Moonlit Lanterns have no purpose outside of this event.
Destroy Magnificent Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Moonlit Lanterns and seedlings for Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin!
During the event, you may encounter Magnificent Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Moonlit Lanterns and seedlings for Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin, among others! Mooncake and Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Magnificent Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!
⚫️Giant Magnificent Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:
*During the event, Mooncake and Mahjont Tile Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Magnificent Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
*If you join a Magnificent Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between September 1st and September 30th will grow into any of the 7 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Mooncake Decor Pikmin.
*In order for the Mooncake Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version v126 or later.
