“Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin will be making a limited-time appearance during this event! Get your Pikmin squad ready, and read on to get the full scoop.
Starting October 14th 2022 0:00 am local time
During this part of the event, tasks will focus mainly on flower planting!
You’ll be able to earn Gold Seedlings by clearing tasks from your Activity List, as well as from completing Weekly Challenges starting on October 17th (Mon). These Gold Seedlings will grow into Purple, White, Rock or Winged “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin.
*Tasks for this part of the event will be available from October 14th until October 31st.
“Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin will come in handy during the second part of the event, so grow as many as you can!
All postcards obtained during the event will feature a special Halloween design that comes in three different variations. Be sure to exchange some with your friends!
Last but not least, we’re releasing four sets of Halloween costumes for your Mii at the beginning of the event! Be sure to check them out in the shop and dress up for the occasion!
From October 24th 2022 0:00 am local time to October 31st 2022 11:59 pm local time
Keep your eyes peeled for “Halloween” Mushrooms popping up starting past October 24th 2022 at 0:00 am local time. These spookily colored mushrooms come in large size only, seem to be harder than the usual and, as it turns out, “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin are the strongest type when it comes to destroying them! Join forces with other players and send your “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin to help if you find them battling a mushroom!
Your Activity List will continue to offer tasks throughout this part of the event. Clearing tasks for the second part of the event gets you Gold Seedlings that grow into Red, Yellow and Blue “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin.
*If you have leftover tasks from the first part of the event, you will still be able to participate in one task per part of the event at the same time (two tasks at a time).
Gold Seedlings from Weekly Challenges
Besides clearing tasks, you can also obtain Gold Seedlings by joining and completing Weekly Challenges between October 17th 2022 and November 6th 2022. Read below to find out which types of “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin you may be able to meet through Weekly Challenges each week.
October 17th through 23rd: Purple, White, Rock and Winged.
October 24th through 30th: Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, White, Rock and Winged.
October 31st through November 6th: Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, White, Rock and Winged.
*“Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin can only grow from Gold Seedlings. You are not able to encounter them by raising your friendship levels with Pikmin grown from regular seedlings.
*Gold Seedlings obtained during the Halloween Event will still grow into “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin even after the event period has ended.
*Tasks are displayed one at a time. You must clear the task at hand before moving on to the next one.
*In order for the “Jack-O’-Lantern” Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version v55 or later.
