It’s that time of the year again! Have you seen orange and purple Halloween decorations popping up around you yet? Whether one enjoys dressing up to celebrate or not, it’s hard to not ignore the festive mood everywhere!
Starting on October 1st, Halloween vibes will be making into Pikmin Bloom in the form of new Halloween Light Decor Pikmin! Additionally, Halloween Treat and Jack-o’-lantern Decor Pikmin will be back to join the fun too! If you’re looking for a costume, we’ve got you covered too: get in the mood with the new Goth style Mii costumes before you head trick-or-treating with your Pikmin squad!

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Halloween Light Decor Pikmin
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Ghostly Matchsticks, seedlings that grow into Halloween Light Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types of Halloween Light Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase a Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (October 1st through 31st):
*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event Missions to obtain Goth style Mii costumes and Gold Seedlings
At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Ghostly Matchsticks. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain Gold Seedlings for Halloween Treat Decor Pikmin, as well as Goth style Mii costumes.
*Ghostly Matchsticks can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Halloween Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of an Premium Event Pass, from a Flower Petal Pack, and as a bonus for the purchase of certain Mii costumes.
*The seedlings obtained from clearing these missions grow into either Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, and Rock Halloween Treat Decor Pikmin at random. Please note that there’s no guarantee that you’ll complete the whole set.
*Once the Halloween Event ends, the Ghostly Matchstick missions will disappear. Please note that the Ghostly Matchsticks have no purpose outside of this event.
Destroy Halloween Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes!
During the event, you may encounter Halloween Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Ghostly Matchsticks, and flower petals, among other items. Sometimes, you may receive Rare Mystery Boxes that contain seedlings for Jack-o’-lantern Decor Pikmin too! All Halloween Decor Pikmin (Halloween Light, Halloween Treat, and Jack-o’-Lantern) are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Halloween Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

And that’s not all, weekends will also feature special lighting of the Pikmin Bloom world, as well as a dedicated BGM to enhance the Halloween mood!
*During the event, Halloween Light, Halloween Treat, and Jack-o’-Lantern Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than the usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Halloween Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you received as a reward will be the one for the Halloween Event too.
*If you join a Halloween Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
All postcards your Pikmin bring will feature a special design!
There’s a total of 3 different designs. This is your chance to obtain all Halloween postcard designs, if you’re missing any from previous years!

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between October 1st and October 31st will grow into any of the 7 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Halloween Light Decor Pikmin.
