A nostalgic twist to your walks: Game Pak Decor Pikmin

This May, Pikmin Bloom is adding a touch of retro charm to your walks.

As you take on Event Challenge missions, you’ll have the chance to meet Pikmin with Game Paks—Nintendo’s classic game cartridges—bringing a familiar touch of nostalgia to your journey!

Whether you’re heading out for a short stroll or taking your time over the weekend, each step brings you a little nearer to meeting them. Take a closer look—some Game Paks might bring back memories of long afternoons spent playing your favorite games.

Event Details

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Game Pak Decor Pikmin!

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Pixel-Art Flowers, seedlings that grow into Game Pak Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 8 available types for Game Pak Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Event Premium Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (May 1 through 31):

For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, gray, or ice blue) of Game Pak Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain event-inspired Mii costumes and seedlings for Nintendo Consoles ‘80-’95 and Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin

At the start of the event, you will receive two sets of missions to collect Pixel-Art Flower. One of the sets awards event-inspired costumes for your Mii, and the other one offers a variety of rewards for you to choose from.

For the second set of missions, after you complete the first mission to collect 600 Pixel-Art Flowers, the following milestones are set at 300 Pixel-Art Flowers each. Rewards will be offered alternately according to the patterns below:

Pattern 1: Pick between a seedling for Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 Decor Pikmin, a seedling for Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin, or an item
Pattern 2: Pick between a seedling for a Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin or an item

(After a certain number of missions are completed, milestones will be set every 600 Pixel-Art Flowers collected, and limited to seedlings for Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 and Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin only).

*Pixel-Art Flowers can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Brilliant Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Pixel-Art Flower missions will disappear. Please note that the Pixel-Art Flowers have no purpose outside of this event.

Destroy Brilliant Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Pixel-Art Flowers!

During the event, you may encounter Brilliant Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain a variety of items alongside Pixel-Art Flowers! Game Pak, Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 and Playing Card Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
(All types of Playing Card Decor Pikmin will receive this strength boost!)

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Brilliant Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. This month, we’re also throwing in an additional day on the last weekend, which will include Friday. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

⚫️Giant Brilliant Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:

May 2 & 3
May 9 & 10
May 16 & 17
May 23 & 24
May 29 - 31

*During the event, Game Pak, Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 and all Playing Card Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Brilliant Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Game Pak Event.
*If you join a Brilliant Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.

Special Mission Ticket: Nintendo Consoles ‘80-’95
When you purchase this ticket and clear the dedicated mission, you’ll obtain a gold seedling in your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) of Nintendo Consoles ‘80-’95 Decor Pikmin.
※The mission must be completed by July 31, 2026 at 23:59.
Special Mission Ticket: Playing Card (Clubs and Joker)
When you purchase this ticket and clear the dedicated mission, you’ll obtain a gold seedling in your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) of Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin (14 types in total).
※The mission must be completed by July 31, 2026 at 23:59.

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between May 1st and May 31st will grow into any of the 8 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, Rock or Ice Game Pak Decor Pikmin.

*In order for the Game Pak Decor Pikmin to display correctly, please use app version 143 or later.
