March is a time when the world gets a little more colorful. In places like India and Nepal, the arrival of spring is celebrated with Holi—the festival of colors—where bright powders fill the air and entire streets transform into a joyful splash of pinks, blues, and yellows.

Inspired by that vibrant tradition, Pikmin Bloom is hosting its very own Festival of Colors event! During the event, you’ll be able to meet Color Powder Decor Pikmin, who seem to have discovered clouds of bright powder and traditional pichkari water blasters—and decided they belong right by their side.

Take them along on your walks and let a little festival energy follow wherever you go!

Event Details

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Color Powder Decor Pikmin!

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Color Pigment, seedlings that grow into Color Powder Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!

*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 8 available types for Color Powder Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Event Premium Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (March 1 through 31):

For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, gray, or ice blue) of Color Powder Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain festival-inspired Mii costumes

At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Color Pigment. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain event-inspired costumes for your Mii!

*Color Pigment can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Verdant Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Color Pigment missions will disappear. Please note that the Color Pigment has no purpose outside of this event.

Destroy Verdant Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Color Pigment!

During the event, you may encounter Verdant Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain a variety of items alongside Color Pigment! Color Powder Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Verdant Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

*During the event, Color Powder Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Verdant Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Festival of Colors Event.
*If you join a Verdant Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
