As summer begins to settle in, it’s the perfect time to step outside and enjoy the longer, lighter days.

In parts of Northern Europe, this season is known and celebrated as Midsommar—a festival that welcomes the arrival of summer. It’s a time for flowers, time spent outdoors, and evenings that seem to stretch on just a little longer than usual.

In Pikmin Bloom, that same feeling is making its way into your walks. During the event, you’ll be able to meet Flower Crown Decor Pikmin—so if your garlands seem to be missing a few blooms, they may have already been picked up…

Event Details

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Flower Crown Decor Pikmin!

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Pickled Herrings, seedlings that grow into Flower Crown Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!

*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 8 available types for Flower Crown Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Event Premium Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (June 1 through 30):

For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, gray, or ice blue) of Flower Crown Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain event-inspired Mii costumes and seedlings for Surfboard Keychain and Puzzle: 2023 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin

At the start of the event, you will receive two sets of missions to collect Pickled Herrings. One of the sets awards event-inspired costumes for your Mii, and the other one offers a variety of rewards for you to choose from.

By completing each mission to collect 600 Pickled Herrings, you will be able to pick a reward of your choice from a selection including seedlings for Surfboard Keychain and Puzzle: 2023 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin alongside other items. (After a certain number of missions are completed, rewards will be limited to seedlings for Surfboard Keychain and Puzzle: 2023 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin only).

*Pickled Herrings can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Mysterious Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Pickled Herring missions will disappear. Please note that the Pickled Herrings have no purpose outside of this event.

Destroy Mysterious Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Pickled Herrings!

During the event, you may encounter Mysterious Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain a variety of items alongside Pickled Herrings! Flower Crown, Surfboard Keychain, Puzzle: 2023 Summer Memories, and Puzzle: 2022 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
(Please note that you won’t be able to receive seedlings for Puzzle: 2022 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin by clearing missions during this event. Their seedlings will be available via Special Mission Tickets in the shop.)

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Mysterious Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. This month, we’re also throwing in two additional days on the last weekend, which will include Monday and Tuesday. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

⚫️Giant Mysterious Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:

June 27 to 30

*During the event, Flower Crown, Surfboard Keychain, Puzzle: 2023 Summer Memories, and Puzzle: 2022 Summer Memories Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Mysterious Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Midsommar Festival Event.
*If you join a Mysterious Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.
