September is almost here, bringing cooler days and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the changing season! This month, Pikmin Bloom is welcoming autumn with the Autumn Festival Event!

Say hello to the new Wurst Decor Pikmin, sporting a playful variety of wurst-inspired looks! And with the Mid-Autumn Festival coming up in several regions around the world, Mooncake Decor Pikmin and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin will also be making their return!

There’s even more to look forward to: Mooncake Decor will be available for Ice Pikmin for the first time! Plus, as a special bonus, one of September’s Event Point missions will reward you with a seedling for a Mooncake Decor Pikmin of your preferred color.

Event Details

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Wurst Decor Pikmin!

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Freshly Baked Pretzels, seedlings that grow into Wurst Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!

*Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 8 available types for Wurst Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase an Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (September 1 through 30):

For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, gray, or ice blue) of Wurst Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).

*The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
*The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
*Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Clear Event missions to obtain event-inspired Mii costumes and seedlings for Mooncake and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin

At the start of the event, you will receive two sets of missions to collect Freshly Baked Pretzels. One of the sets awards event-limited Mii costumes, and the other lets you choose from a variety of rewards.

By completing each mission to collect 600 Freshly Baked Pretzels, you’ll be able to choose one reward from a selection including seedlings for Mooncake and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin, alongside other items. (After completing a certain number of missions, rewards will be limited to seedlings for Mooncake and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin only.)

To add to that, as a special bonus for September, users who collect 15,000 Freshly Baked Pretzels will be able to choose one Gold Seedling that grows into a Mooncake Decor Pikmin in the color of their choice. (At the 15,000 Freshly Baked Pretzel milestone, only the Gold Seedling for Mooncake Decor reward can be selected. Seedlings for Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin and items will not be available.)

*Freshly Baked Pretzels can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Magnificent Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Premium Event Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.
*Once the event ends, the Freshly Baked Pretzel missions will disappear. Please note that the Freshly Baked Pretzels have no purpose outside of this event.

Destroy Magnificent Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes containing Freshly Baked Pretzels!

During the event, you may encounter Magnificent Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain a variety of items alongside Freshly Baked Pretzels! Wurst, Mooncake, and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!

Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Magnificent Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box. This month, we’re also throwing in three additional days the last weekend of the month, which will run from Saturday to Wednesday. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!

⚫️Giant Magnificent Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:

September 5 & 6
September 12 & 13
September 19 & 20
September 26 to 30

*During the event, Wurst, Mooncake, and Autumn Sticker Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call via a Mushroom Battle Bullhorn to a Magnificent Mushroom before the event has started in your timezone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The Mystery Box you receive as a reward will be the one for the Autumn Festival Event.
*If you join a Magnificent Mushroom battle after the event is over in your timezone, you won’t receive a Mystery Box.

Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between September 1st and September 30th will grow into any of the 8 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, Rock or Ice Wurst Decor Pikmin.
